Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuaries

The Mudumalai National Park is around 36 Km via Kallaty Route, The other route is around  67 KM via gudalur.  The Mudumali Wildlife Sanctuary is reserve was the first sanctuary in south India. Mudumalai  is a tri-junction of the Three States, Mudumalai National Park (Tamil Nadu), Wynad Wildlife Sanctuary (Kerala) in the west and, Bandipur Tiger Reserve (Karnataka) in the north. Mudumali is around 62 sq Km area.  

 
Kotagiri

Kotagiri is around 23 km from ooty, 33Km from Coonoor, Peaceful and quiet hilly area of tamilnadu for tourist to visit. The tourist Can vist the nearby Rangaswamy peak, Uyilatty Falls its around 8 km from Kotagari . Kodanad is a little village about 18 kms , from the east of Kotagiri on the eastern edges of Nilgiris.

Sims Park (Coonoor)

Sim's Park at Coonoor is around 20 KM from ooty has exotic varieties of trees and flowers. It is an unusual botanical garden that was developed back in 1874 by Mr. J.D. Sims and Major Murray.

 

Mukurthi Peak and Mukurthi National Park

Mukurthi National Park is around 40 KM from ooty. It continues to blend in the verdant greens of the silent valley. It is located on the south eastern corner of the Nilgiris Plateau. It is an interesting place for the skeptics as the flora and fauna of this pace bears a striking resemblance to that found in Himalayan region.
